US Discretionary Budget Priorities

This graph shows the makeup of the US discretionary budget of 2007-2008. While it does a good job in its simplicity, with a color contrast showing military spending, there are areas in which it could improve. It isn't totally clear what some of the terms include. For example, what money goes into the Iraq share as opposed to the Pentagon share? Also, actual dollar values are perhaps unnecessary for each share, but the total discretionary budget would be very helpful so that we could get a ballpark figure for each share.
