
This is an interesting variation of a graph we talked about in class. Instead of representing vote shares by county in terms of color intensity, this graphic uses a third dimension, height. Note that the highest bars are in urban areas, which tend to vote overwhelmingly Democratic: Los Angeles County, Cook County (Chicago), Dade County (Miami, Wayne County (Detroit).
