I picked this graphic because it follows most of Tufte's guidelines, with a few exceptions. The lines on the graph distract slightly from the data. Additionally, the writing on the graph crowds the data and makes it difficult to detect a clear pattern. However, the graphic's simplicity makes it easy to look at and interpret, while showing a range of data variables.
