I chose this image from a NY Times article about the hyphenated ethnic terms that have come to go in and out of the realm of politically correctness over theyears in the US (
http://www.nytimes.com/2008/03/03/opinion/l03black.html?_r=1&oref=slogin). I find it visually interesting and it is an example of moire graphics persistence in contemporary visual displays despite tufte's aversion to them.
