This graphic displays the emission of carbon dioxide around the world in a real-time animation. While the color key is slightly confusing at first, it does show an interesting contrast among emission rates of different countries. The addition of birth and death rates, while also interesting visual touches, don't seem to have much to do with the point of the graphic, as there isn't really a direct correlation. Overall, though, the ability to scroll over the map and see all the information for each country, along with the real-time animation, makes this a worthwhile graphic. The counter in the bottom left displays the severity of the problem well.
