African-American geographic distribution in the United States
From redstate.com, this blog shows the distribution of African Americans in the United States. I am shocked by how regional the distribution is (the south) and how urban it is everywhere else.
When looking at this map, I was wondering how it was binned. Do the square areas, especially in the mid- to south-west actually represent a square geographic distribution of 5-50% black residents, or is this a perception based on binning?
