Fear of Terrorism After 9/11

It is laid out pretty clearly, but there are some elements that are unnecessary, like the size and shape of most of the markers. Some of the labeling could also be a bit clearer, and a critical part of the graphic that is missing is data on the "level" of fear Americans had about terrorism PRIOR to 9/11. Maybe that data doesn't exist, but there is nothing to which we can compare this data.
